    Description

Introducing InfraCoir 400®: Stability Meets Sustainability

InfraCoir 400® is a heavy-duty 400 mm diameter coir log designed for embankment stabilisation, shoreline protection, and waterway rehabilitation. Manufactured from tightly packed natural coir fibre within a strong 2-ply coir netting, it offers enhanced resistance in moderate to high energy environments—without synthetic additives.

Reliable Erosion Control for Dynamic Sites

This larger diameter log withstands moderate flows and bank wash-out, making it suitable for river corridors, urban drainage, and tidal wetland edges. Its added mass offers stronger resistance to movement, ideal for sites where a 300 mm log may not be sufficient.

    Plantable. Stackable. Adaptable.

InfraCoir 400® can be installed individually or stacked in layers for additional protection. Predrilled planting holes allow for rapid vegetative integration, ensuring the log becomes part of the living landscape. Once vegetation establishes, it takes over the role of structural support.

    Natural Degradation with Long-Lasting Impact

The coir material slowly decomposes over 24–36 months, enriching the soil without leaving waste. This makes InfraCoir 400® an ideal choice for sustainable development zones, coastal sites, and infrastructure projects prioritising environmental stewardship.

    Where to Use InfraCoir 400®

    • Riverbank Rehabilitation: Protects embankments from wave or flow-induced scouring.
    • Drainage Channels: Controls side slope erosion in vegetated stormwater assets.
    • Infrastructure Corridors: Stabilises fill zones along roads, bridges, and culverts.
    • Coastal Planting Zones: Offers a biodegradable edge for salt-tolerant vegetation.
    • Mine Site Rehab: Functions as a natural buffer during early vegetation growth.
